Engagement boundaries: 1) Open-minded dialogue focused on scriptural alignment. 2) Demonstrate the relevance and significance of alien life revealing a wider view of God's cosmos. 3) Theologic reflection coupled with scientific discovery dresses our conversations with an appreciation of the mysteries of God's created universe. 4) Curiosity and exploration can be foundations of spiritual growth in appreciating the diversity and complexity of God's creation. 5) Mutual respect is required when engaging in unconventional or even challenging topics. 6) Willingness to consider new perspectives that may challenge preconceived ideas and traditional perspectives that may not have scriptural backing. 7) Disagreements amongst believers do not have to sever unity in Christ, especially if an understanding that alien intelligences have been the foundation of religions that are not Jesus-centric.
